A longer trailer is out for the Doctor Who Christmas Special, which will be Matt Smith's last outing as the Doctor, and the special looks to be action packed.

In the trailer, several familiar nemeses face off against the doctor while the end of Matt Smith’s reign is heralded: “and now it’s time for one last bow, like all your other selves, eleven’s hour’s over now, the clock is striking 12.”

We can’t wait to see the special and to see Peter Capaldi emerge as the 12th regeneration of the Time Lord.
