[Movie News] First Look at Wonder Woman in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’

At their San Diego Comic-Con panel, Warner Bros. had Zach Snyder come out for the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of  Justice movie and he revealed Gal Gadot in her Wonder Woman costume.

I (Anthony) think the costume looks awesome, when I showed it to Leanne she commented that it looks dark. “Where are the bright colors? The red, the blue, the gold?”

Those sentiments are being expressed by many fans who aren’t too keen on the darkness of the armor as a whole but it could very well look very different when the film comes out.  Looking at this costume made me think back to the Wonder Woman live-action costumes of the past and I think this one is right in line with the current updated costumes for the superhero movies coming out.

Not only did Snyder reveal Gadot’s costume, he also showed a teaser for Dawn of Justice.

“We have a teeny little thing,” Snyder stated before unveiling a very short teaser scene, which featured a dark and rain-soaked skyline where Batman, on a rooftop, pulls back a tarp covering the Bat signal. He lights it, revealing Superman floating in the sky. Superman’s eye lights up red, he’s clearly peeved. The camera then tracks into Batman’s face, his eyes glowing white.

“We have to go back to finish the movie,” said Snyder, before whisking off the actors as the teaser was shown again to great cheers and piercing screams. The director, who previously revealed a new image of Affleck as Batman, debuted the photo of Wonder Woman on Twitter.

The reveal of her costume and the teaser sent all of Hall H at SDCC into a frenzy, multiple cellphone recordings of the teaser have leaked out and have been swiftly taken down.  There was no hesitation in the photoshopped fan posters, which look pretty darn good, from being created and hitting the internet also.

Hopefully Warner Bros will officially release the SDCC teaser trailer that was show at their Hall H panel for all to see and geek out over in the next days.
