Review: by Lee

I didn't know much about Girl Most Likely other than the fact that Kristen Wigg and Matt Dillon were starring in it, which could go either way; so I wasn't expecting much from it at all.

What I Liked:

It was funny.  I cannot deny that I laughed, sometimes really hard.  Matt Dillon’s character is so shady and off-the-wall.  Come to think of it, most of the characters were off-the-wall.  I liked their quirkiness.

It was unique.  I had not seen another movie just like it.  Granted, some of the scenes and themes were a bit cliche, but there’s nothing new under the sun.  There was nothing in the movie that seemed stolen.

It was delightfully awkward.  The humor was off-colored and interesting.  Imogene’s brother Ralph was particularly enjoyable.

What I Didn’t Like:

It wasn’t largely memorable.  This review is coming a month or so after having seen it, and I cannot say much for it.

Summary

It was amusing, but not necessarily worth seeing in theaters.
