This is very interesting as the principal characters have kept themselves busy acting to varying levels of success and notoriety, and some have previous experience acting in both live-action and animated roles. Katy Sagal is a veteran in the animation world with many years of work on Futurama under her belt. Ed O’Neill might best be known for his Emmy-nominated work on Modern Family, but he also was in Finding Dory for Disney. David Faustino has animation experience from Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Legend of Korra where he voiced Mako.

All that to say, it’s going to be interesting to see how they bring the Bundy family into 2022 and adapt to modern times and modern sensibilities.

An animated revival of “Married…With Children” is in development with the original series main cast set to return.

Ed O’Neill, Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate, and David Faustino are all set to reprise their roles as the Bundy family in the show, which is not currently set up at a network or streaming service. It is currently on the market with multiple outlets expressing interest, sources say.
