Don Cheadle, as earlier rumored, will appear in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, reprising his role as Colonel James Rhodes.

As The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the sequel to last years blockbuster hit The Avengers, starts to film, more and more information regarding the expanding cast is becoming available.

The good folks at Bleeding Cool were the first to report the rumor that Don Cheadle would appear in Age of Ultron, and now the rumor has been confirmed by Hit Fix.

With War Machine/Iron Patriot appearing in Age of Ultron, we can start to speculation about how major of a role he’ll play.  Will he be used to get Tony Stark / Iron Man back into the Avengers after destroying his multiple armors in Iron Man 3?  

We’ll just have to wait and see when The Avengers: Age of Ulton hits theaters in Summer 2015.
