[Comic Book News] Marvel’s Thor is now Female
Today on ABC's The View Marvel has revealed that Thor, the god of thunder, is now female.
Few details are available at the moment, however, the story goes that the current Thor saved this woman and after some events the male Thor is no longer worthy to wield the mighty Mjolnir.
This will not be She-Thor, or Thorette, or any other weird name combination. She will be THOR.

Marvel is excited to announce an all-new era for the God of Thunder in brand new series, THOR, written by Jason Aaron complimented with art from Russell Dauterman.
This October, Marvel Comics evolves once again in one of the most shocking and exciting changes ever to shake one of the “big three” of Captain American, Iron Man and Thor. No longer is the classic Thunder God able to hold the mighty hammer, Mjölnir, and a brand new female hero will emerge worthy of the name THOR.
Early speculation is brewing with the latest secrets revealed in Original Sin: Thor & Loki.
Other comic book fans, including myself, are slightly puzzled with the new Thor. There are current marvel characters that are similar to a female Thor such as Valkyrie and even Thor’s granddaughters.
This new Thor comic will be written by Jason Aaron and he is killing it on Thor: God of Thunder currently, so I’ll be reading this new title come October.
