True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll has just joined Marvel's Netflix show Daredevil as Karen Page.

Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page will be the female lead on Daredevil, who is the long time love interest for Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Woll is best known for her time on HBO’s True Blood as vampire Jessica Hamby.

Karen Page was introduced in Daredevil comics in issue #1 in 1964 as the secretary for Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson’s law firm.  She eventually went on to become a love interest for both Murdock and Nelson. Having the typical on and off relationship with Murdock that’s seen in many other comics (think Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson).

Woll joins Netflix’s Daredevil along with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin and Rosario Dawson in a still unnamed role.
