At their San Diego Comic-Con panel, NBC's The Blacklist announced that Mary-Louise Parker will join the show in season 2.

Parker is set to play Naomi Highland in a recurring role throughout season 2.

Parker will play Naomi Hyland, a woman who’s hiding a dark secret from her husband. Creator Jon Bokenkamp described the character as “completely tied to Reddington,” James Spader’s character on the hit show. That means we’ll learn a bit more about the mysterious Red this season.

We’ve heard good things about The Blacklist, mostly that James Spader is fantastic and makes this show work.  We’re interested in how adding Mary-Louise Parker will effect the show going forward, hopefully it will fare better than her pervious show Weeds.
