The spinoff manga of Attack on Titan, called Attack on Titan: No Regrets (Shingeki no Kyonin Gaiden: Juinaki Sentaku), is getting an anime adaptation to ship with later volumes of the main manga.

Haijime Isayama’s 15th and 16th volumes of the Attack on Titan manga will ship with two new anime DVDs for the spinoff prequel story of Levi and Erwin’s early encounters.

This prequel to megahit Attack on Titan answers the questions: How did Captain Levi of the Survey Corps go from street tough to humanity’s strongest soldier? And how did Commander Erwin become a cold, calculating leader, ready to sacrifice anything to save the human race? The fires that forged this bond of loyalty and trust were intense indeed!

The staff and cast from season one of Attack on Titan will return for this spinoff anime due to arrive December 9, 2014 and April 9, 2015.

This is awesome news as fans clamor for more Attack on Titan anime and await the start of season two.
