TBS is putting together a new comedy script with the guys from Broken Lizard who were behind films like Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest.

 I recently re-watched Super Troopers and it was still as funny as I remembered it being, so this news sounds promising because the Broken Lizard guys know comedy.

The project, which is called “Quality Time” and is being developed and produced by Entertainment One Television, follows the now-adult (well, at least older) versions of the group as they struggle through various challenges of adult misery and child rearing and attempt to hang on to the idiotic freedom of their irresponsible pre-parental lives.

Broken Lizard’s Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske will serve as writers on the show, as well as produce alongside Contend’s Steven Amato.
